Hottest Party On Campus- Crimson Nights Haunted Homecoming
This project took over a month to complete and pushed my creativity to new levels, but I love a good challenge. These advertisements were displayed all across the University of Utah campus and the Union Building for the annual Crimson Nights Halloween Edition, the biggest campus party of the year hosted by the Union Programming Council.
Planning
Several people were involved in this process, including collaborations with the Homecoming Department, the Union Programming Council, the Directors of the Union, and the Union Marketing Team. After creating over 30 drafts and refining the design to satisfy more than 20 stakeholders, I finalized the main theme of the event—a skeleton pumpkin-head DJ. We wanted to highlight DJ Ricky Barrera as the star of the show. Once the final design was approved, I adapted and resized the graphic to fit every advertising format across campus.
Final Product
My designs were showcased everywhere, from the Union Building and campus display monitors to A-frames, table tents, flyers, and multiple department social media accounts. To boost attendance, our team created engaging reels, patio banners, plaza banners, hosted giveaways, organized photoshoots, and implemented a paid SEO strategy to increase visibility and reach. The results spoke for themselves, with over 3,000 students attending the event!
