Every August, the University of Utah Union is excited to welcome new, transfer, returning students, etc to campus! To celebrate their excitement the Union giveaway over 1000 t-shirts for free to any student, staff, faulty, etc at the U. I had the pleasure of designing and marketing this giveaway. By creating a music video, taking a photoshoot, and more. This was an exciting opportunity to take on!

Step 1- Developing the Design

My first step was to come up with several potential options for the design, after 15 drafts and several business meetings with my team. We decided on the final design, ordered, and received the shirts quickly. Only a few days away from the first day of school!

Step 2- Contacting & Marketing

My second step was to set up a group that would be great to pose and model with the T-shirts on, so we can share it on social media. While also taking another day to record the video. Several days before the shoot, I storyboarded where everyone was going to pose, do, and say for the video. After the Video and Photoshoot were edited, we posted them to our social media profiles to let people know they can grab a FREE T-shirt when they follow the University of Utah Unions Instagram & UPC.

I had such an amazing time planning and designing the t-shirts!
